First, for aliens, Wyoming was a huge setting for Close Encounters of the Third Kind, where the famous Devil’s Tower was the setting for the first contact of extraterrestrials. Another location was used for filming in the science fiction film Starship Troopers.

In 1945, two cowboys in the bighorns came across a grisly site– A missing WWII bomber.
